His Pumpkin King outfit was created and designed by Edgar

On the outside, Oogie might seem jovial and joyful (which is mostly true). but deep down, he's burdened by the pain of losing his only friend as well as being the inadvertent cause of Jack becoming evil in the first place as well as the disappearance of Sally

While most of citizens of Halloween Town began to trust Oogie again after he kicked out Edgar, some of them still hate him for what happened last Halloween

Dr. Finkelstein used to be pretty overprotected toward his creations, especially Sally. but ever since her disappearance, his personality changed significantly, for better or for worse

No one knows what happened to Jack after The Pumpkin king competition, Oogie suspects that he might be hiding somewhere in the outskirts. however, he's too scared to see Jack after all that time, especially what happened between them

Recently, there have been rumors circling around claiming that people saw a figure wearing a ragged cloak on the outskirts, no one knows why nor who it is behind the cloak. but people who've encountered it say that it would mercilessly attack anyone who even dared to stare at it. however, recently, it started to gain a huge interest in Oogie Boogie

I've always wondered If Oogie Boogie became the new Pumpkin King back in "The Battle for Pumkin King", what would he do as Halloween's new leader and what would come after it. which is how I got the idea for this AU (There's also the Holiday Wanderer Sally AU i currently have in the works)
